Obama’s lead up to 5 in Ohio

September 11, 2012

Obama has now gained a five point lead in Ohio according to a new PPP poll. This follows on the footsteps of both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions leading to some interesting comparisons of the two presidential comparisons. More after the jump!

Responders in Ohio favored Obama by five points in a 50-45 result over Mitt Romney while five percent of the responders were undecided. The results of this poll gives Obama the highest lead in Ohio in this race between the presidential candidates.

On another, more baffling note, 15% of the republican responders said that they believed Mitt Romney deserved more credit than Obama for killing Osama-bin Laden. This seems quite outrageous as Romney had absolutely nothing to do with the mission on assassinating Bin Laden. How respondents came to this conclusion is a question that I’m sure will be left unanswered.
